Body Kit Installation Mississauga
Trusted in the GTA Since 2010 – Over 15 Years of Certified Experience
What is Body Kit Installation?
A body kit can completely change the stance, proportions and character of your vehicle, but achieving the right result depends on more than simply attaching aftermarket parts.
At It’s aWrap™ in Mississauga, we professionally install exterior components such as front lips and splitters, side skirts, rear diffusers, spoilers and other aftermarket body pieces. Whether you’re making a subtle OEM-style upgrade or building a more aggressive look, proper positioning and fitment are essential to making the finished modification look like it belongs on the vehicle.
Body kit installation can involve existing mounting locations, hardware, automotive-grade adhesives or a combination of installation methods depending on the vehicle and component. Before final installation, the part should be checked against the vehicle for alignment, spacing and fitment.
Aftermarket components can also vary considerably in manufacturing quality. Even parts designed for a specific make and model may require adjustment to sit correctly against the factory bodywork. Our focus is on identifying those considerations before permanent installation and achieving the cleanest result possible.
With more than 15 years of automotive customization experience in Mississauga, our team approaches every installation with careful preparation, proper alignment and attention to the finishing details.
Body Kit Components & Installation Options
You don’t need to install a complete body kit to transform your vehicle. Individual exterior components can make a noticeable difference on their own, while a coordinated set of parts can create a more complete and cohesive appearance.
Depending on your vehicle and the components available, body kit upgrades can include:
- Front lips and splitters
- Side skirts
- Rear diffusers
- Spoilers and trunk lips
- Bumper extensions and exterior trim pieces
- Other aftermarket exterior styling components
Some owners prefer subtle additions that complement the vehicle’s factory design, while others want a more aggressive transformation. The right approach depends on the vehicle, the components and the overall look you want to achieve.
If you already have a body kit or individual components, contact our team with your vehicle and part details so we can confirm whether the installation is suitable before booking.
If you’re still planning your project, we can also help you understand important installation considerations such as fitment, mounting requirements and how different components may work together.
Our goal isn’t simply to attach aftermarket parts. It’s to make the finished upgrade look intentional on the vehicle.
Benefits of Body Kit Installation
Transform Your Vehicle’s Appearance
A body kit can significantly change the character of your vehicle. From subtle front lips and spoilers to more aggressive side skirts and diffusers, exterior components allow you to create a look that better reflects your style.
Create a More Cohesive Exterior
Combining complementary front, side and rear components can help create a more complete appearance. Properly selected parts can follow the vehicle’s existing lines and make individual modifications feel like part of one overall design.
Personalize Your Vehicle
Aftermarket exterior components give you greater freedom to make your vehicle your own. Depending on the platform and available parts, you can choose anything from understated OEM-inspired styling to a much more distinctive appearance.
Upgrade Your Vehicle in Stages
A full body kit isn’t necessary to start modifying your vehicle. Splitters, skirts, diffusers, spoilers and other components can often be added individually, allowing you to develop the exterior over time.
Choose a Setup That Fits Your Style
Body kit components are available in different designs, finishes and materials depending on the vehicle and manufacturer. Choosing the right setup means considering appearance, fitment, durability and how each component works with the rest of the vehicle.
Quality and Workmanship: The It’s aWrap Difference
15+ Years of Automotive Customization Experience
It’s aWrap™ has been customizing vehicles in Mississauga since 2010. That hands-on experience is especially valuable with aftermarket parts, where fitment, mounting requirements and manufacturing tolerances can vary considerably between vehicles and components.
Fitment & Alignment First
Before final installation, we assess how the component sits against the vehicle and check its positioning, spacing and alignment. Aftermarket parts don’t always arrive with factory-level tolerances, so identifying fitment concerns before permanent mounting is an important part of achieving a clean result.
Installation Based on the Component
There is no single installation method for every body kit. Depending on the vehicle and component, installation may involve existing mounting points, appropriate hardware, automotive-grade adhesives or a combination of methods.
We assess the individual component and vehicle rather than treating every installation the same way.
Attention to Body Lines & Finishing Details
A properly installed body kit should work with the vehicle’s existing design. We pay attention to symmetry, spacing, edges, positioning and how each component follows the surrounding body lines.
Those small details can make the difference between a part that simply looks attached and one that feels integrated into the vehicle.
Straightforward Advice Before Installation
Not every aftermarket component fits perfectly out of the box. If we identify an obvious fitment or installation concern, we believe it’s better to discuss it before the component is permanently mounted.
Our goal is to give you a clear understanding of the installation and the result you can reasonably expect from the parts being used.
Considering a Body Kit for Your Vehicle?
Choosing the right body kit is only part of the process. Fitment, material quality, mounting requirements and installation experience can all affect how the finished upgrade looks and holds up over time. If you’re deciding whether to tackle the project yourself or leave the installation to an experienced shop, read our DIY vs. Professional Body Kit Installation Guide for a closer look at what each approach involves.
Ready to Transform Your Vehicle?
Whether you’re adding a single splitter or planning a complete exterior transformation, our Mississauga team can help you determine the right approach for your vehicle and components.

Body Kits FAQ
What is a body kit and what does it include?
A body kit is a set of exterior modifications — like bumpers, side skirts, diffusers, and spoilers — designed to enhance your car’s look and aerodynamics.
What are body kits made of?
Common materials include ABS plastic, fiberglass, polyurethane, and carbon fiber — each with different durability and styling benefits.
Do body kits improve performance or just looks?
Some kits improve aerodynamics and downforce, especially at higher speeds. Others are purely cosmetic for a more aggressive stance.
Can I install a body kit on any car?
Most kits are vehicle-specific, but we offer custom-fit solutions for many makes and models — including Teslas, BMWs, and performance sedans.
How much does a body kit cost in Ontario?
Prices vary widely. Expect $1,500 to $5,000+ depending on the kit, material, and whether it’s painted or wrapped.
Do body kits need to be painted or can they be wrapped?
Both options work. Many clients choose to wrap body kits to match or contrast their car’s color — it’s faster and reversible.
Is professional installation required for body kits?
Yes — proper fitment, alignment, and secure mounting are crucial. Our Mississauga team ensures a seamless, safe install.
Will a body kit affect my car’s ground clearance?
Some kits lower the profile slightly. We’ll help you choose a design that balances style with daily drivability.
Can I install just part of a body kit?
Absolutely. You can start with a front lip or side skirts and add more pieces over time.
Are body kits legal in Ontario?
Yes — as long as they don’t obstruct lights, plates, or safety features. We ensure all installs meet local regulations.

• Full-body PPF (Paint Protection Film)
• 8-year ceramic coating on the exterior
• Interior ceramic coating
• PPF protection for the center console and display screen
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the results.
The exterior work is simply impeccable. The installation is so clean and precise that it’s extremely difficult to see any film edges. The finish looks completely seamless, almost as if the protection was applied at the factory. Khalid’s team used DynoShield, which is widely regarded as one of the best PPF products available, and the quality shows.
One thing that really impressed me was the self-healing capability of the film and coating. On the very first day I took the car out, birds left droppings on the rear of the vehicle. After cleaning them off, a noticeable smudge remained. A few days later, the mark had completely disappeared on its own. The film effectively healed itself, exactly as advertised.
Maintenance has also been incredible. Most dirt, dust, and road grime come off with nothing more than water. I use far fewer chemicals than before, and keeping the car looking freshly detailed takes very little effort.
The interior PPF is a bit more challenging, but that’s due to the design of the vehicle rather than the installation itself. Modern displays and gloss-black consoles have very tight edges that don’t allow the film to wrap completely around them. As a result, you can tell there’s a protective layer on the screen and console, much like a screen protector on a phone, and a bit of dust can collect around the edges. For me, that’s a small trade-off for protecting surfaces that I’d like to keep looking new for the next 10-15 years and preserving the car’s resale value.
The shop itself is another reason I’d recommend It’s a Wrap. The workspace is exceptionally clean and organized, and it’s clear they regularly work on high-end and exotic vehicles. Everyone I dealt with was professional, knowledgeable, and took pride in their work.
My only suggestion for improvement is to confirm material availability before a large PPF job begins. In my case, the shop ran out of film partway through the installation, and I had to wait an additional week for completion. That said, the delay wasn’t a major issue for me, especially since it was still extremely cold outside and the car was on summer tires, making it impractical to drive anyway. The final result was absolutely worth the wait.
Bottom line: Khalid and his team deliver outstanding workmanship, use premium products, and genuinely care about the quality of the finished product. I would confidently recommend It’s a Wrap to anyone looking for PPF, ceramic coating, or paint protection services for a high-end vehicle.

I ended up going with 20% all around — dark enough that you can tell someone’s in the car but can’t see their face, and still easy to see out at night. Took about 2h30. Highly recommend if you want a seamless experience.

On the day of the appointment, I dropped off the car around lunchtime and came back around closing. The wrap was done really well, and Khalid took the time to explain that it’s best not to reinstall the spoiler immediately. He recommended coming back for a follow-up inspection and installation. Overall, excellent service and communication!

I got my moon roof tinted as well with a 70% and you can still see stars throught it at night, while the heat of the sun in the day is reduced enough that I will have it open now.

They applied PPF around the whole vehicle, Ceramic Tint and ceramic coating.

The 2 week follow up inspection they offer shows that they do stand by their work.
