Window tint is a high-performance film that blocks heat, UV rays, and glare while enhancing privacy and style. It’s applied to the inside of your vehicle’s glass.
What’s the difference between 3M Ceramic IR and 3M Crystalline?
Crystalline offers the highest heat rejection and clarity, while Ceramic IR provides excellent performance with a darker, more traditional look. Both block infrared heat and UV rays effectively.
How much does window tint cost?
Pricing varies by vehicle and film type, but most installations range from (2 windows) $130 to $650+ (all glass). Premium ceramic films cost more than dyed options.
Is window tint legal in Ontario?
Yes — as long as it complies with Ontario’s tint laws. We help clients choose shades that are legal and effective for front and rear windows.
How long does XPEL tint last?
With proper installation and care, 3M window film can last 10–15 years and comes with a lifetime limited warranty against bubbling, peeling, and fading.
Does XPEL tint block UV rays?
Yes. 3M window films block up to 99.9% of harmful UV rays, protecting your skin and preventing your car’s interior from fading.
Can I tint my windshield with 3M?
Only partially. You can apply a clear 3M film like Crystalline 90 for heat and UV protection, but full tinted windshields aren’t legal in Ontario.
How long does window tint installation take?
Most jobs are completed in 2–3 hours, depending on the number of windows and film type.
How soon can I roll down my windows after tinting?
Wait 3–5 days to allow the film to fully cure and bond to the glass.

I recently brought my 2026 Mercedes-AMG CLE53 to It’s a Wrap and entrusted Khalid and his team with a significant amount of work, including:
• Full-body PPF (Paint Protection Film)
• 8-year ceramic coating on the exterior
• Interior ceramic coating
• PPF protection for the center console and display screen
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the results.
The exterior work is simply impeccable. The installation is so clean and precise that it’s extremely difficult to see any film edges. The finish looks completely seamless, almost as if the protection was applied at the factory. Khalid’s team used DynoShield, which is widely regarded as one of the best PPF products available, and the quality shows.
One thing that really impressed me was the self-healing capability of the film and coating. On the very first day I took the car out, birds left droppings on the rear of the vehicle. After cleaning them off, a noticeable smudge remained. A few days later, the mark had completely disappeared on its own. The film effectively healed itself, exactly as advertised.
Maintenance has also been incredible. Most dirt, dust, and road grime come off with nothing more than water. I use far fewer chemicals than before, and keeping the car looking freshly detailed takes very little effort.

These guys are true professionals. There skill at wrapping goes beyond your average shop , no bubbles, no rips or tears even after years and no visible edges. To top it off they were even able to install new tails and body mods for me and all for a reasonable price. They are also super communicative about the process and explained everything in detail.

My daughter loves the cosmic pink wrap we got done just before Halloween! The wrap is seamless and fortified by a strong coating - that makes it feel better than paint! This place is professional and even went out of their way to replace a battery while at the shop (I.e., it died overnight since it was a 2016 jeep). Good luck with your wrap!

I ended up going with 20% all around — dark enough that you can tell someone’s in the car but can’t see their face, and still easy to see out at night. Took about 2h30. Highly recommend if you want a seamless experience.

During my initial visit, he gave me a clear quote and explained that the spoiler would need to be removed for a proper roof wrap. We scheduled the appointment for the following week. A few days before the job, I noticed rain in the forecast and gave him a call, Khalid suggested we reschedule to ensure the wrap could dry properly, which I really appreciated.
On the day of the appointment, I dropped off the car around lunchtime and came back around closing. Both my wife and I got our cars tinted at It's aWrap and we're both Very happy. We got the Ceramic tint to block the heat and reduce sun damage. It makes a huge difference. My car is significantly cooler after a day baking in the sun.
I got my moon roof tinted as well with a 70% and you can still see stars throught it at night, while the heat of the sun in the day is reduced enough that I will have it open now.

This is my second time at It's a Wrap. First time I brought my Chevy Cruze for a window tint 9 years ago. Excellent work, and great group of guys. I now have a White Honda Civic and remembered the great work these guys did, so I decided to get the same window tint done again, along with a black roof wrap. I love how it turned out! They even explained everything to me in detail and we're patient with all my questions. Highly recommend!
